Absolutely amazing experience! My daughter is usually quite nervous when it comes to getting her hair done, but she felt so comfortable and relaxed here. Jamie was incredibly patient, gentle and understanding, and took the time to make sure she was happy throughout.

Her hair looks absolutely beautiful, and she was so proud of it when we left! ❤️ The attention to detail was fantastic, and the whole experience was so lovely. We couldn’t be happier with the result and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! ✨

I chose Jamie based on her great reviews, and although I knew I was taking a bit of a chance, I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked into her ‘sole’ salon, Jamie made me feel welcome. She is genuinely lovely and took the time to listen carefully, making sure I felt heard, understood, and confident in the process. I’ve now visited twice, and both times I’ve been absolutely pleased with the results. I’m not the easiest client as my hair needs are quite complex - but Jamie really knows her craft. She is incredibly talented, highly knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to make sure you leave feeling happy with your hair. Another huge bonus is that Jamie does everything herself. You’re not passed from one person to another for colouring, washing, and styling. Having one person do it all makes such a difference and gives a real sense of continuity and care. I drive from Lower Hutt and it is completely worth the trip. I’m so glad to have found a little bit of ‘sole’.

I find it rare to walk out of a hairdresser and not go immediately home and restyle or try fix bits up myself but Jamie nailed it. She is a very talented hairdresser and bonus her salon has such a welcoming, relaxed vibe. Highly recommend.

Jamie is a PRO with her tools and totally nailed the styles I was after, twice! I showed her pics and she crushed it — even with my thick asian hair that usually doesn't sit right. I'm in love with the pixie cut I got today, which she totally tailored to my hair. Never had hair this short, but she made it so easy to maintain.

I loved my first visit with Jamie. She offers an initial consultation for free. It was great to sit and chat. Getting to know this person I was going to trust styling my hair was important. She had time to cut and style so that's what we did. And I a thrilled with the result. Exactly what I had hoped for. A bonus was the size and ambience of Jamie's salon. It was quiet and restful. I loved being her only customer in the room. I am looking forward to my next visit.
